01This website does not track you
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tags,
no session recording, no embedded social widgets, no consent banner — because there is
nothing to consent to.
We took that decision deliberately. A site that handles medical imaging should not be
simultaneously reporting its visitors’ behaviour to an advertising company.
02What that means in practice
- No cookies are set by this website. Nothing is written to your browser’s
cookie store when you read these pages. - Nothing is stored locally. We do not use local storage or session storage.
- The upload form keeps its state in memory only. The list of files you have
selected exists in the page while it is open, and disappears when you close it.
03What the server records
Like any web server, ours writes an access log: the IP address of the request, the time, the
page or endpoint requested, and the browser identification string. This is not a cookie and it is
not used to profile you. It exists so that we can keep the upload endpoint secure and diagnose a
transfer that failed. Logs are kept for 12 months. See the

04Third-party connections
There are none. Everything this website needs to draw a page — the
stylesheets, the scripts, the typefaces, the images — is served from our own server.
That last one is worth spelling out, because almost every website gets it wrong. Most sites
load their fonts from Google’s servers, which means your browser silently makes a request to
Google on every page and your IP address is disclosed in the process. German courts have found
that this alone can breach the GDPR. We host our typefaces ourselves, so no request leaves our
server and no third party learns that you visited.
The practical consequence: nothing on this site can track you across other websites, because
nothing on this site talks to any other website.
05If this changes
If we ever add analytics — and there is a reasonable argument for privacy-respecting,
cookie-free statistics — we will update this page first and, where the law requires consent,
ask for it before anything is set.
