A dental practice that started designing its own guides.

DENTAL WELLNESS has worked in digital dental technology for years. Digital Dental Guides is the service that grew out of it — computer-guided planning and surgical template design, run by clinicians who place implants themselves.

The practice

DENTAL WELLNESS

DENTAL WELLNESS has spent years as a practice built around digital dental technology. Digital Dental Guides is its service for computer-guided dentistry: the design and manufacture of digital surgical templates of every type.

We hold to the highest current standards and commit to offering only effective and accurate solutions, so that excellent and predictable dental care is possible — which means we would rather tell you a plan will not work than print it.

We provide complete digital solutions, designing and manufacturing any type of surgical guide, for clinicians across Europe.

  • The treating clinician approves everythingAll medical and surgical planning is approved by the dentist responsible for the treatment. Three-dimensional files are released in final form only after written approval, by digital signature on an approval document.
  • Patient data stays confidentialDENTAL WELLNESS guarantees the confidentiality of patient data, handled to EU standards.
  • Engineering, prosthodontics and manufacture in one roomThe person who understands the scanner, the person who owns the prosthetic plan, and the person who prints the guide are the same three people, every case.
  • A certified laboratory, not a print bureauOur laboratory is certified for the production of dental prosthetic work and surgical guides to the applicable European requirements, and every template is made in-house on certified medical-grade resin.
The team

Who plans your case

An engineer, a prosthodontist and a master technician. Between them they cover the three places a guided case actually goes wrong: the data, the prosthetic plan, and the manufacture.

George Kouratiadis

Founder · Guided surgery planning & digital imaging

An engineer who went into dental imaging and never came back out. Fifteen years as a certified Carestream Dental field technician and trainer means he has been inside the machines that produce your CBCT — not just reading what comes out of them. He has planned more than six thousand implants, from single units to full-mouth reconstructions.

  • Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens
  • IT specialist since 2004
  • Certified Carestream Dental field technician since 2009 — extraoral and CBCT systems, intraoral imaging, intraoral scanners (CAD/CAM)
  • Certified Carestream Dental trainer in 3D applications and intraoral scanning since 2009
  • Planning experience across 3Shape Implant Studio, coDiagnostix, R2Gate and SMOP
  • 6,000+ implants planned on R2Gate — single implants through to full upper and lower jaw restorations
  • 1,500+ cases planned in SMOP by Swissmeda, the laboratory’s primary platform

  • DDS, Athens Dental School (2013)
  • Three-year postgraduate clinical specialisation in Prosthodontics, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens
  • Scientific associate, undergraduate prosthodontics clinic, NKUA
  • International training in Digital Smile Design and Microscopy in Dentistry
  • Published in prosthodontics and implantology, Greek and international journals

CDT · Certified Dental Technician

The manufacturing side of the workflow. A certified dental technician who spent three years in German laboratories on implant and aesthetic restorations before building his own digital laboratory — which is where the design files stop being files and become something you can seat in a mouth.

  • Degree in Dental Technology, University of West Attica (2012)
  • German dental laboratories, implant and aesthetic restorations (2012–2015)
  • Bredent-certified pilot laboratory, Greece
  • Own digital laboratory in Kifisia since 2016 — 3D printing and five-axis milling
